Bengaluru: GITAM (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, celebrated the 70th Kannada Rajyotsava with grandeur through Namma Kannada Utsava.
The event featured six pre-event competitions held on 30th & 31st October, 2nd and 3rd November, with 200+ participants and 55 winners across student and faculty categories.
The main celebration on 4th November witnessed an electrifying flash mob and Huli Kunita, followed by a colorful cultural procession and captivating performances of Dollu Kunita, Veeragase, Bombe Kunita, and Tamate.

The formal program graced by Nadoja Dr. Mahesh Joshi, highlighted Kannada’s rich heritage and unity. Concluding with cultural shows and sweet distribution, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd of over 1500 participants, making Namma Kannada Utsava a truly memorable celebration of Kannada pride.
